Art Deco-imbued touches—the shiny black bar, Venetian plaster walls sculpted to look like tufted dove-gray leather, the wraparound black leather banquette, and the ethereal “ghost” chandeliers—enhance the luxurious vibe. It’s a striking introduction to the Ella Ballroom. Not quite as vast as the Sofia, this room’s more intimate “members only” atmosphere conjures up an era of opulence and prestige.
