Focus on International Trade: New and Comprehensive Online Export Documentation Solution Platform Launched

New solution platform expected to help area businesses increase efficiency and save time and money

Los Angeles area businesses seeking to compete in the global marketplace now have an additional tool to expedite securing export documentation with increased efficiency and accuracy. The new solution platform is the result of a partnership between the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce and Fast Track Global Services (FTGS).

“As our global economy grows, it is critical that Los Angeles area businesses can compete in the global marketplace. The L.A. Area Chamber is excited to bring solutions forward that expand the opportunities for businesses to participate in our global economy in Southern California,” said Chamber President & CEO Maria S. Salinas. “As the first Chamber in the nation to offer such a comprehensive service platform, the L.A. Area Chamber has embarked on this venture with Fast Track Global Services in a continued effort to help area businesses increase export efficiency and save time and money.”

The platform improves the way exporters and freight forwarders handle regulatory needs by providing step-by-step guidance and built-in legalization/apostille options, while providing the highest level of security and document traceability. The export documentation solution platform, Swiftdox, uses secure block chain technology, offering multilingual certificates of origin, free sale (CFS), good manufacturing practices (GMP) and good standing (GSC) processing solely online.

With built-in legalization/apostille options, businesses can opt to have their certificates processed with a single click. The process is then fast tracked so certificates can be apostilled in as little as 48 hours or legalized in as little as 10 business days.

In creating the comprehensive platform, FTGS has worked with foreign governments, global regulatory and health agencies and freight forwarders to develop a secure, block chain technology that helps exporters obtain and process their documents with increased accuracy, enhanced security and instant traceability. The Chamber has been a long-time issuer of export documentation, but with this new platform will do so with increased efficiency.
