He has over 20 years of experience leading IT teams within a high performing culture and pioneering new technology advancements. He has also written multiple articles and books on information technology strategy and governance.

Thomas Phelps is Vice President of Corporate Strategy & CIO for Laserfiche where he has spearheaded corporate and product strategy for the company by collaborating with the executive leadership team in redefining the company mission/vision, strategic objectives, brand positioning and product strategy — including launching new products such as Laserfiche Cloud in 2015. He also led the transformation of the IT function from infrastructure/operations to driving innovation; partnered with the business on major programs, such as increased sales and marketing enablement with the adoption of new technology platforms and processes (CRM, data analytics, marketing automation, etc.) Phelps also led the initiative to obtain a SOC 2 attestation; partnered with Legal on enhancements to privacy policies, data processing agreements, security and other regulatory compliance initiatives.
