Ritson Ferguson is also chief executive of CBRE Global Investors’ equity securities management subsidiary, CBRE Clarion Securities. He is a global senior portfolio manager and a member of the CBRE Clarion Global Investment Policy Committee. He chairs the global executive committee and global investment committee. Prior to joining CBRE Global Investors, he was on the global management committee of ING Real Estate Investment Management. He was one of the founding principals who formed the predecessor entity to CBRE Clarion Securities. Earlier in his real estate career, he worked at K.S. Sweet Associates and Trammell Crow Co. He was also a consultant at Bain & Co. and a captain in the U.S. Air Force. He earned an MBA with distinction from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and a BS from Duke University, where he graduated summa cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He is active in many real estate organizations and is a CFA charter holder.

Recent transactions: CBRE Global Investors has recently acquired the following assets: A 45 percent interest in a portfolio of 55 retail assets totaling almost 7 million square feet across 12 U.S. West Coast markets; Rahlstedt Center in an affluent suburb of Hamburg, Germany; A majority stake in three regional shopping centers in Spain and Portugal; A 47 percent interest in 7 W. 34th St., a newly renovated Class A office and retail building in Manhattan; IZD Tower in the dominant office district of Vienna; Brewers Hill, a two-building 440-unit, Class-AA apartment community in Baltimore; The 463-unit Sølvgade Complex Student Accommodation in Copenhagen.
