Gerard was previously partner in the corporate governance services practice at Good Swartz Brown & Berns LLP, a division of J.H. Cohn LLP, an international accounting firm headquartered in Roseland, N.J.
Green Hasson & Janks LLP, a certified public accounting firm in Westwood, has promoted Donella Wilson and Farshad Yashar to partners. Most recently, Wilson and Yashar were principals with the firm.
The Beverly Hills office of HKS Inc., a Dallas-based architecture, engineering and interiors firm, has promoted Lance Evans, Philip Little, Nicholas Price and Saundra Price-Kish to associates, and Patrick Treadway to vice president. Evans was previously junior designer in the sports design group with the firm. Little and Price were construction administrators. Price-Kish was director of business development. Treadway was an associate.
Greg Lyon has joined Nadel Architects, a West L.A.-headquartered architectural design firm, as design principal. Lyon was previously design principal in the Santa Monica office of KTGY Group, an Irvine-based architectural design firm.
WET Design, a Sun Valley water feature design company, has hired David Gresham as vice president of design, Kim Lange as vice president of project development, Carlos Rodriguez as controller and Brian Rogers as chief financial officer. Gresham was previously co-founder of Lucesco Lighting Inc., an LED-based lighting company in Palo Alto. Lange was managing principal of MHA Studio, a Westchester development company. Rodriguez was vice president of accounting and finance at IndyMac Bank. Rogers was chief financial officer for Safeway Inc.
Stuart Silverstein has been named director of public affairs for BuildLACCD, the Los Angeles Community College District's modernization program for its nine colleges. Silverstein was previously deputy national political editor with the Los Angeles Times.

The Pasadena-based L.A. County affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, a Dallas-headquartered non-profit organization supporting breast cancer research, education and health services, has named Catherine Mullally executive director. Mullally was previously president of CMC Group LLC, a New York-based brand strategy and communication consultancy.

Inner City Law Center, a Los Angeles-based non-profit organization that provides social service advocacy to homeless and low-income clients, has elected Alfredo Sanchez to its board. The center also hired Greg Spiegel as director of public policy and communications. Sanchez is senior vice president, secretary and general counsel of Citibank. Spiegel was previously a staff attorney at the Western Center on Law and Poverty office in Koreatown.
The Hollywood office of Frantic Films VFX, a visual effects facility based in Winnipeg, Canada, has hired Terry Clotiaux as senior vice president and chief operating officer for its parent company, Prime Focus Group; and senior executive producer for North America. Previously, Clotiaux was executive producer for Digital Domain, a Venice-based digital production studio.
