Joseph D. Rumley has joined the Pasadena office of McGladrey & Pullen LLP, a Bloomington, Minn.-based accounting, tax and business consulting firm, as an audit and assurance partner. Rumley was previously a partner with Grant Thornton LLP, a Chicago-based accounting, tax and business advisory firm.

Banking & Finance

Wells Fargo has appointed Byron Reed senior vice president and head of community development for the Los Angeles metro region, and Larry M. Tekler senior vice president and regional management in its Los Angeles office's family wealth group. Previously, Reed served as senior vice president and business strategy executive in Bank of America's consumer real estate group. Tekler was managing director for the Citigroup Private Bank in Costa Mesa.


Jonathan Shibata has been named assistant vice president and banking center manager for Comerica Bank's new Marina del Rey branch. Shibata was previously branch manager for HSBS in Sherman Oaks.


Interactive Data Corp., a Bedford, Mass. company that provides financial market data and analytics, has hired Keith Webster as manager director in its Santa Monica office's fixed-income analytics business unit. Previously, Webster was manager director of enterprise risk and compliance solutions business with Dun & Bradstreet, a commercial information company headquartered in Short Hills, N.J.


Engineering

Chris Petrov has joined the L.A. office of Psomas, a downtown L.A.-based engineering and consulting firm, as vice president. Petrov was previously senior associate and southwest regional manger for Nielsen-Wurster Group Inc., a Princeton, N.J.-based dispute-resolution firm.

HGA Architects and Engineers, a Minneapolis-based engineering firm, has promoted Jessie Robertson to senior associate in its Los Angeles office. Robertson was previously director of business development.

Entertainment

Erin Corbett has been promoted to president in the Sherman Oaks office of Imagi Studios U.S., the American subsidiary of Hong Kong-based computer-graphics production company Imagi International Holdings Ltd. Corbett was previously senior vice president of global marketing.

Hospitality

208 Rodeo, a restaurant located at Via at Two Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, has named Chris Kasteler general manager and Joseph Mahon executive chef. Previously, Kasteler was general manager of the Blvd restaurant in Beverly Hills. Mahon was chef de cuisine at the Fairmont Newport Beach.

Human Resources

RSJ Swenson, an Encino human resources consulting firm, has hired Luke Brown as business development manager. Brown previously owned tool distribution company ProLine Industries.

Law

Jennifer Brown has joined the Santa Monica office of Bryan Cave LLP, a St. Louis-based law firm, as counsel. Brown was previously a senior attorney at Goodwin Procter LLP, a Boston-based law firm.

James Gilbert has been appointed senior counsel of Reish Luftman Reicher & Cohen, a West Los Angeles-based law firm. Gilbert previously served as counsel with Moldo Davidson Fraioli Seror & Sestanovich LLP, a Century City law firm.

Greenberg Taurig LLP, a Miami-based law firm, has named Nathan A. Schultz counsel in its Los Angeles office. Schultz was previously a shareholder in Century City-based bankruptcy law firm Stutman Treister & Glatt.

Marketing

Greg Davis has been hired as U.S. general manager in the Los Angeles office of Total Immersion, a Paris-based digital marketing agency. Davis was previously a new-media consultant for Warner Bros.

Non-Profit

Pasadena Mental Health Center, a non-profit agency that serves low-income clients with depression and anxiety, has named Chanel Wen Boutakidis executive director. Boutakidis will continue to serve as director of permanency programs with Five Acres, an Altadena-based child and family services agency.

Carole Wagner Vallianos has been appointed president of Los Angeles Biomedical Research Institute at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance. Vallianos previously served as chairwoman of the institute.

Century Housing, a Culver City-based non-profit organization providing affordable housing, has appointed Dan Weinstein and Darroch "Rocky" Young to its board. Weinstein is managing director of Wetherly Capital Group in West Los Angeles. Young is chancellor emeritus of the Los Angeles Community College District.

Real Estate

Timothy Hill has been named president of Raleigh Enterprises, a Santa Monica-based real estate company. Previously, Hill served as executive vice president at real estate firm Castle & Cooke Inc.'s Lanai, Hawaii office.

Marcus & Millichap Capital Corp., an Irvine-based commercial real estate brokerage firm, has named Michael Sullivan associate director in its West L.A. office. Sullivan was previously vice president in the Agoura Hills office of Mastiff Capital Partners, an Agoura Hills real estate services firm.

Robert G. Thornburgh has been promoted to president of the Heger Co., a Baldwin Village-based real estate firm. Thornburgh was previously executive vice president.
