Sonnenblick-Eichner Co. named Patrick Brown as a principal and shareholder of the company. Los Angeles-based Sonnenblick-Eichner Co. is a real estate investment banking firm. Previously, Brown was executive director of the firm.

PinnacleOne, an Arizona-based construction consulting firm, appointed Joseph L. Seibold vice president and California service line leader for the firm's dispute avoidance and resolution practice. Seibold, who will be based in PinnacleOne's Los Angeles office, is president of the Construction Management Association of America and previously served as a principal and vice president at Carter & Burgess Inc.

Sinaiko Healthcare Consulting named Jeff Sinaiko president and Sue Antoni senior vice president of the firm. Sinaiko was the company's senior vice president and Antoni was a vice president.

Mullin Consulting Inc. promoted Heidi O'Brien to senior vice president in its Los Angeles office. O'Brien has held numerous jobs at the company since joining Mullin in 1994.

Kent Kresa was named chairman of the California Institute of Technology. Kresa was formerly president and chief executive of Northrop Grumman. Also, Marc I. Stern was named a trustee of Caltech. Stern is the president and director of the asset-management firm TCW Group Inc.

Bing Gordon was named the first holder of the Electronic Arts Endowed Faculty Chair at the University of Southern California's School of Cinema-Television. Gordon is the chief creative officer, executive vice president and a founder of videogame publisher Electronic Arts.

Management 360, an L.A.-based entertainment management services firm, named Lainie Stolhanske to its board. Previously, Stolhanske served as a talent manager at 3 Arts Entertainment and Anonymous Content.

Health Care
John C. Law was elected chairman of Cedars-Sinai Health System. Law is managing director of Warland Investments.

Gaynor B. Rabin was named vice president of managed care contracting and payor relations for the Daughters of Charity Health System, a regional health care system of six hospitals and medical centers. Most recently, she was director of managed care and contracting at St. Vincent Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Jason Gasper was promoted to partner in Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP's Los Angeles office. Gasper is in the labor and employment practice group.

Brown Raysman Millstein Felder & Steiner LLP named J.D. Harriman partner in the patent department of the firm's Los Angeles office. Harriman was formerly a partner in the Los Angeles office of Coudert Brothers LLP.

David M. Luber joined Greenberg Traurig LLP as of counsel in its Los Angeles office. Previously, Luber was a founding partner of Case Knowlson Mobley Burnett & Luber (now Case Knowlson Jordan & Wright), where he most recently served of counsel.

Blattel Communications, a marketing and public relations firm, named Julie Hite account supervisor and manager of client relations of its new Los Angeles office. Previously, Hite was senior marketing manager at the law firm Allen Matkins Leck Gamble & Mallory.

Roberto Barragan was named chairman of the California Reinvestment Committee, an organization that revitalizes low-income and minority communities. Barragan, president of the Valley Economic Development Center, has served on the CRC's board for the past six years as secretary and vice chairman.

The Entertainment Industry Development Corp., a private non-profit organization that facilitates location film, television and commercial production in Los Angeles and surrounding areas, elected Steve Dayan as chairman of its 2005 board. Dayan is a business agent with Teamsters Local 399, which represents studio drivers and location managers.

Real Estate
Granite Peak Partners Inc., a real estate investment company based in Marina del Rey and Santa Barbara, named Scott Collier real estate asset manager. Collier, who will be based in Marina del Rey, was previously a senior asset manager with JSM Construction Inc. in Santa Monica.

Macerich Co., a Santa Monica-based real estate investment trust, appointed Leanne B. Mouw senior manager, real estate counsel. Mouw was formerly an associate in the real estate department of Heller Ehrman White & McAuliffe.
