Manuel Mollinedo Director Los Angeles Zoo Aza.org

This is the Web site for the American Zoological and Aquarium Association. The reason this site is important is it gives me information on other zoos in the country. If someone opens another exhibit I'd like to see what problems they might have. When you keep exotic animals it's only a matter of time before you run into the same problems. You can also find quirky information about some of the things other zoos are doing.

Travel.discovery.com

As the zoo director, I do quite a bit of international travel. Many times, a lot of the countries I visit, it's the first time I've been there. I like to do my homework so I know what to expect. This site gives me information about the animals in the surrounding area. I went to Indonesia to look at Komodo dragons. So I used the site to find out about the country.

Pbs.org

This basically gives me a lot of information about current programming as well as nature and wildlife. Also, I have a very old house and I'm trying to keep the historic flavor while at the same time keeping it comfortable and livable. So I watch "This Old House" religiously. The Web site has a lot of good information about construction as well as home maintenance.
