Kyle Krajewski has been appointed vice president and account director of the Action Group, based in Los Angeles. He will be responsible for managing client projects, developing agency business and co-managing internal operations. Krajewski was most recently marketing director for Management Solutions Inc. in San Jose.

Terry Burden has been named to the new post of director of development for Pittard Sullivan's licensing and merchandising services group, based in Culver City. His duties will include entertainment and corporate licensing, strategic brand development and planning. Burden was most recently vice president of TLA/Consor's brand group.

Banking & Finance

Rodney F. Banks has been named head of Bank of America's commercial banking division in Southern California. He will be responsible for relationships with business customers with annual sales of between $10 million and $500 million. Banks was most recently a commercial banking executive for Bank of America in Georgia.

Kathleen Z. Harper has been promoted to vice president in the product management and development department at Union Bank of California. She will manage various products and services on a bank-wide basis, and will be based in Los Angeles. Harper was previously product manager for Great Western Bank in Northridge.

Yulandria D. Pearson has been named senior vice president of lending for Hughes Aircraft Employees Federal Credit Union, based in Manhattan Beach. Her responsibilities will include growth, product development, pricing, compliance and staff training and development. Pearson was previously vice president of consumer loan operations for the credit union.

William Quigley has joined Pasadena-based Idealab Capital Partners LP as a principal. Most recently, Quigley was an associate with Mid-Atlantic Venture Funds. ICP is connected to Pasadena-based Idealab, an early-stage Internet incubator.

Corinna L. Seiler has been promoted to vice president of HighMark Capital Management Inc., an affiliate of Union Bank of California. Her responsibilities will include sales support and marketing in the company's Los Angeles office. Seiler was most recently marketing and sales support manager for the company.


Theodore Mitchell has been named president of Occidental College. Mitchell was most recently vice chancellor for external affairs at UCLA.


Norman Becker has been named vice president, legal, for Viacom Consumer Products, the licensing division of Paramount Pictures, located in Hollywood. Becker was previously vice president of business and legal affairs at Universal Studios Consumer Products.

C. Bradley Call has been promoted to senior vice president at Digital Domain Inc. He will oversee the business affairs department and handle negotiations on all of the Venice-based company's projects. Call was previously vice president of business and legal affairs for the company.

Julia Pistor has been promoted to senior vice president of Nickelodeon Movies, based in Santa Monica. She will be responsible for the development and production for all Nickelodeon theatrical releases. Pistor was previously vice president of Nickelodeon Movies.

Susan Silverman has been promoted to the new post of vice president of special events for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios in Santa Monica. Her responsibilities include planning and managing domestic and international meetings and conventions for all the studio's divisions. Silverman was most recently director of special events for the studio.

High Tech

K.C. Murphy has been named president and CEO of Pasadena-based Pivotal Technologies Corp. He will oversee expansion of the communications company's presence in the world market. Murphy was most recently an executive vice president at Cadence.


Tom Stroik has been appointed director of sales and marketing at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Marina del Rey. He will oversee all group and business travel sales and room bookings. Most recently, Stroik was director of sales at the Ritz-Carlton in Cleveland. Also, Sheena Stephens has been appointed public relations manager. Her responsibilities include advertising and marketing of the hotel. Stephens was previously public relations manager at the Regal Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.


Shaida Monshi has been promoted to vice president and property division manager in the Los Angeles office of Brown & Riding. Her responsibilities include overseeing the property division. Monshi joined the firm in 1996 as senior associate broker.

William M. Stratico has been has been named vice president of Lemac & Associates' new financial services department, based in Los Angeles. His responsibilities will include handling issues related to directors and officers liability, errors and omissions liability and employment practices liability insurance. Stratico was previously with the Chubb Group.

International Trade

Ron Reddick has been named director of engineering development for the Port of Los Angeles. Reddick most recently was assistant chief harbor engineer in the port's engineering division.


Breton Bocchieri has been named co-chairman of Arter & Haddon LLP's national intellectual property practice group in Los Angeles. He has also been named chair of the national patent department and will focus on the firm's technology and patent practice. Bocchieri has been a litigator in the patent, copyright, trade secret, trademark and intellectual property-related antitrust arenas.

Warren L. Ettinger has joined Investigative Group International Inc. as director of West Coast operations and general counsel. He specializes in white-collar criminal cases, complex litigation and the representation of government entities in the firm's Los Angeles office. Ettinger was most recently a trial attorney at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.


Don Corsini has been promoted to the new post of senior vice president of KCAL-TV Channel 9. He will remain the station's general manager and will be responsible for its day-to-day operations. Corsini was previously vice president for the station.


Silvio John Orlando has been appointed executive director of the Optimist Youth Homes in Highland Park. His responsibilities will include foster home expansion, adoptions licensing and enhancement of traditional housing and after-care services. Orlando was most recently associate executive director of Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services.

Lee Rosenblum has been named senior associate campaign director for the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles. He will assist the associate executive director of the federation. Rosenblum was previously with the federation as director of development and research, director of business and professions and director of the Western region.


Bill Dunn has been promoted to division vice president of AppleOne Human Resources Consulting Group, located in Torrance. He will oversee the human resources district managers and support staff. Dunn will also continue to serve as payroll and tax filing services vice president of sales for the company.

Joanne Stacknick-Peake has been named West Coast district manager for RD Raab and Co. She will head the company's new office in Seal Beach. Stacknick-Peake was previously vice president of human resources for Tideland Oil Products Co.

Public Relations

Bruce Babashan has been appointed managing director of DHR International's Los Angeles offices. His responsibilities will include developing the Los Angeles market for the firm. Babashan was previously executive vice president for the firm in Washington, D.C.

Denis Wolcott has been promoted to vice president and director of media relations at the Los Angeles office of Stoorza, Ziegaus & Metzger Inc. His responsibilities will include serving as strategic media relations counsel for the firm. Wolcott joined the company in 1995.

Real Estate

Bruce Asper has been promoted to regional leasing director of Jones Lang LaSalle Inc. His responsibilities include overall leasing and new business development in downtown Los Angeles and the Tri-Cities. Asper was previously leasing superintendent in the firm's downtown office.

Joseph T. Faulkner has been named executive vice president and managing director of Grubb & Ellis Co. He will manage the company's downtown and San Gabriel Valley offices. Faulkner was most recently director of investment services for Jones Lang Wootton.

Robert N. Ruth has been named area president and managing director for Trammel Crow Co. in Southern California. He will oversee office and industrial properties for the company from its Los Angeles headquarters. Ruth joined the company in 1998.

Craig M. Silvers has been promoted to senior vice president and head of the REIT and real estate research group of Sutro & Co. Inc., based in West Los Angeles. His responsibilities will be to supervise and review all research activities, investment selection, publications and personnel in the real estate sector. Silvers was most recently a research analyst for the firm.

Robert J. West has joined BTI Appraisal as executive vice president. He will serve as senior real estate appraiser and consultant to former Soviet governments on privatization issues. West was previously director of the California State Office of Real Estate Appraisal.
