Kelly P. Green has been named senior vice president and account director at Campbell-Ewald Advertising. Based in the Los Angeles office, Green will have overall operations responsibility for Coco's, DirecTV Interactive, Hughes Corporate and Asiana Airlines. Kelly formerly managed the Toshiba laptop account at Chiat/Day and also spent six years at BBDO West on the Apple Computer campaign.

Brian W. Nocco has been appointed chief financial officer of Los Angeles-based Imperial Financial Group Inc. He most recently served as senior vice president and chief compliance officer for Chubb Corp.

L.H. Friend, Weinress, Frankson and Presson Inc., an investment banking firm with offices in Los Angeles, Irvine and Chicago, has announced the promotions of four executives. Gregory E. Presson has been appointed chairman and chief executive. He joined L.H. Friend in 1992 and most recently held the position of president. He will continue in his role of head of investment banking. Carl E. Frankson has been appointed president. He joined the firm in 1985 and has 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Stephen D. Weinress, who joined the firm in 1984, has been named vice chairman and has been appointed to the board. Patrick S. Bannister has been appointed to handle the responsibilities of chief operating officer in addition to his current duties as chief financial officer. He has been with the firm since 1995.

Glen E. Bickerstaff has joined the large-cap equities group of TCW Group Inc., parent of Trust Company of the West, as a managing director.

Dan T. Walton has been appointed managing director of investment banking and manager of the consumer products and services group at the Los Angeles office of Wedbush Morgan Securities. He will focus on expanding business opportunities in the consumer products area, including restaurant and food manufacturers. Walton previously was managing director with Pauli & Co. Inc.

Energy

Harold B. Tyber has been appointed president of a new venture, Arco Integrated Power Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary that will manage Los Angeles-based Arco's development and operation of power generation projects around the world. Tyber previously was vice president of marketing and business development for Arco Coal Co., and, more recently, head of integrated fuel and power for Arco Global Energy Ventures. In addition, William Garrett has been appointed senior vice president of business development. He previously was president of Tenneco Power. Also, John Handlin, former business manager for Arco Western Energy, joins the new division as vice president of finance, planning and control.
