Mod Op has purchased One Eighteen Advertising Inc. in its fourth agency acquisition in the last three years.
Miami-based marketing communications agency Mod Op will join its offices and personnel with those of the Sawtelle-based advertising firm. One Eighteen founder Michael Larson will join Mod Op’s team as its executive vice president of creative.
“Mod Op is dedicated to serving our clients with industry-leading offerings and capabilities, and this acquisition is another example of that drive,” Eric Bertrand, Mod Op chief executive, said in a statement.
Since 2004, One Eighteen has operated as a full-service advertising agency providing client services such as brand development, broadcast and digital production. The merger will bolster Mod Op’s presence on the West Coast by combining One Eighteen’s established in-house capabilities with its own digital marketing initiatives.
