Maverick Carter founded LRMR in Cleveland in 2005 and SpringHill in Hollywood in 2007 alongside four-time NBA champion LeBron James. Carter has worked extensively with James over the past two decades on projects, including “Shooting Stars,” a 2023 Peacock-streamed movie that recounts James’ life. In November 2024, SpringHill merged with Fulwell 73, the British production company behind “The Kardashians” and “Carpool Karaoke,” naming Carter and Fulwell partner Leo Pearlman co-chief executives of the combined entity, now known as Fulwell Entertainment.
