Wendy Barnes became president and chief executive of GoodRx, the Santa Monica-based prescription savings platform, last year when drug affordability was one of the most politically charged health care issues. GoodRx’s main platform has provided discounted prices for prescription medications through partnerships with 70,000 participating pharmacies. Barnes has led the company through various initiatives to directly address drug affordability.
