Martha Santana-Chin leads L.A. Care Health Plan, the largest publicly operated health plan in the U.S., serving nearly 2.5 million members in Los Angeles County. Since taking the role last year, her focus has been on maintaining access to health care services and coverage for low-income residents amid federal funding cuts. Santana-Chin brings 30 years of experience in managed care, operations and delivery system strategy, having previously held executive positions at HealthNet of California.
