Burke has been with Sawtelle-based affordable housing developer Meta Housing Corp. since 2002 and has been president since 2014. As president, Burke guides the strategic direction and positioning of the company, spearheading its ongoing growth and portfolio management. Under his leadership, Meta developed over 7,000 units in 82 communities throughout California. He specializes in acquisition, entitlement processing, financing, design development, construction, lease-up and portfolio management. In 2021, Burke, alongside former Meta Housing President John Huskey, formed Meta Development to expedite affordable housing projects. Since its inception, it has financed 11 projects with low-income housing tax credits and tax-exempt bonds.
