Dedeaux is the chief executive and managing partner of Santa Monica-based Dedeaux Properties, one of the most active developers of logistics real estate in the Southern California region. The firm’s portfolio includes more than 14 million square feet of distribution, cold-storage and transportation-oriented properties, now known as industrial outdoor storage. Currently, Dedeaux Properties has a project pipeline of approximately 2 million square feet in various stages of development and entitlement. The Dedeaux family’s national transportation and logistics company, Dart Entities, helped Dedeaux get his start by recognizing the need for modernized logistics facilities. Dedeaux serves as chair of the Rod Dedeaux Foundation.
