Nyman’s umbrella firm, Acceleration Community of Companies, expanded last year with the acquisition of public relations agency DKC. He founded ACC in 2018 with the intent of using it as a platform to acquire a variety of creative agencies within the public relations, advertising and marketing spheres to allow them to cooperate with and complement each other. Outside of DKC, other recent acquisitions include emerging brand marketer Trailblaze and influencer marketing agency Pixly. Nyman is presently co-chair of the USC Annenberg Board of Councilors, a member of the Cedars-Sinai Board of Governors and is a past chair of the California Film Commission board.
