Hello Sunshine
Harden has been chief executive for more than eight years at Hello Sunshine, the media company founded by actress Reese Witherspoon. The company tells stories that shine “a light on where women are now and helping them chart a new path forward,” according to its website. The company was acquired by Kevin Mayer and Tom Staggs’ Blackstone-backed Candle Media in 2023. Witherspoon and Harden joined Candle’s board. Last July, Harden was named chief executive of Candle Studios. The new studio will include production companies Exile Content Studio, Candle True Stories and Faraway Road Productions, with Hello Sunshine as the anchor tenant, having produced Hulu’s “Little Fires Everywhere” and “The Morning Show” for Apple TV.
