In her role at Guggenheim, Walsh develops the firm’s vision for investment strategies, as well as leading the investment process in terms of sector allocation, portfolio design and risk management. Walsh has been with the Santa Monica-based firm for 18 years watching its investment division reach close to $250 billion in assets between fixed income, equity and alternative strategies. Before becoming chief investment officer for Guggenheim’s entire investment business line, Walsh was the chief investment officer specifically for fixed income. Last year, she joined the Investor Advisory Committee on Financial Markets under the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. She also founded the Walsh Center for Political Economy at Wabash College.
