Blum is a three-time Academy Award-nominated, two-time Primetime Emmy Award-winning and a three-time Peabody Award-winning producer. Blumhouse is a film, television and gaming company regarded as a driving force in horror. Blum has produced over 200 movies and television series, including genre franchises like “Halloween,” “Five Nights at Freddy’s,” “Paranormal Activity,” “Insidious” and “The Purge,” among many others. In January of last year, Blum orchestrated a merger of Blumhouse with James Wan’s Atomic Monster. The combined companies are responsible for nearly $9 billion in worldwide box office receipts. Before founding Blumhouse, Blum served as co-head of the acquisitions and co-productions department at Miramax Films.
