President, Chief Executive
Warner Bros. Discovery
Zaslav earned $51.9 million last year even as his company struggles. He directs the Warner Bros. studio to license library content to streaming competitors instead of keeping it in-house and pushing profits over market share, including at streamer Max. Formerly head of reality TV giant Discovery since 2007, Zaslav is a protege of famed media investor John Malone. Zaslav is a recipient of the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Ripple of Hope Award, the UJA-Federation of New York’s Steven J. Ross Humanitarian Award and Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications Fred Dressler Leadership Award and serves on the board of a number of organizations.
