Antoci is the chief executive of Erewhon Markets, a healthy food grocery chain in the Los Angeles area which is based downtown and known for its expensive goods. After buying a single location on Beverly Boulevard in 2011, Antoci set about expanding his company’s reach, opening its second location in 2014 and many more since in areas like Pasadena, Culver City, Santa Monica and in the Valley in Studio City, among other locations. It plans to open a number of additional locations this year. Prior to owning Erewhon, Antoci and his wife Josephine, owned Superior Anhausner Foods until selling it to Sysco in 2009 for an undisclosed price. The company invested $30 million last year in a 100,000-square-foot food processing facility in Vernon.
