Alberini returned to downtown-based Guess? as chief executive in February 2019 after a 2014–2019 tenure as the leader of downtown-based Lucky Brand. He was at RH (formerly Restoration Hardware) from 2010 through 2013. He served as president and chief operating officer of Guess from 2000 to 2010. Under Alberini’s watch, Guess? ended fiscal year 2025 with adjusted net earnings of $105 million on $3 billion in revenue. As of Feb. 1, the company directly operated 1,070 retail stores in Europe, the Americas and Asia while its partners and distributors operated 527 additional retail stores worldwide. In April of last year, Alberini oversaw the first ever acquisition by Guess? when it bought New York-based fashion brand rag & bone with WHP Global.
