Miller is keeping busy more than 50 years into his career. At Miller Barondess, which he co-founded in 2006, he is presently representing Los Angeles County in litigation involving the homelessness crisis here and also concerning the wildfires this year. This past year, Miller secured numerous confidential settlements favorable to his clients, including a significant reduction to claimed damages of $240 million tied to a $1.3 billion company transaction. He is also preparing for a trial in Atlanta, where he represents LifeBrite Laboratories in seeking more than $1 billion in damages from major health insurers for alleged false claims.
