Once the firm’s managing partner, Berman is executive chair of the Westwood-based law firm he founded in 1996. What started off as a firm of four is now 42 offices with more than 450 attorneys – among the largest geographic reaches of any Los Angeles-based law firm. WSHB added two offices in Florida last year thanks to a 19-attorney lateral, resulting in the firm’s single largest expansion move in its history. In 2024, the firm continued to bolster its headcount and upped gross revenue by about 20%. Berman remains active in the L.A. community, serving on the boards of the Young Presidents’ Organization’s Santa Monica Bay and Pacific Gold Coast chapters.
