Klein, an internal medicine physician, has been chief executive of Providence Holy Cross Medical Center, a 377-bed hospital in Mission Hills, since 2013; for five years prior to that served as the hospital’s chief medical officer. Providence Holy Cross Medical Center was ranked by U.S. News & World Report as a Los Angeles metro best hospital in 10 or more types of care for 2024-2025. The hospital also has received Top 50 Hospital Quality awards from Healthgrades for six consecutive years. In late 2023, it opened an expanded neonatal intensive care unit, adding six cribs. Prior to joining Providence, Klein practiced with Permanente Medical Group and was medical director and chief operating officer for HCA Los Robles Regional Medical Center.
