HOK Architects
Cadet was named design principal for the Los Angeles office of HOK Architects in mid-2023, becoming one of the few Black women in the nation to hold such a prestigious post at a major architectural firm. As design principal, Cadet shapes the design culture and framework at the Los Angeles studio. She joined the Los Angeles office in 2013 after several years in San Francisco and Dallas. Her recent Los Angeles-area projects include two in West Hollywood: the Robertson Lane mixed-use development and the boutique West Hollywood Edition hotel. HOK’s Los Angeles studio has also designed capital projects at both Los Angeles International and Long Beach airports as well as the recently opened platinum-LEED-certified computer sciences building at the USC Viterbi.
