Menai has led CTBC Bank USA in downtown for the last 15 years, overseeing all operations including the bank’s real estate lending groups. Together with its parent company, CTBC Bank in Taiwan, the financial institution has $290 billion in assets. Menai serves as deputy head of international business for the parent company. A focus for the U.S. operations has been lending to small- to medium-sized businesses in industries such as technology, real estate, international trade and manufacturing. Additionally, Menai serves on the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco’s Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council and previously served on the FDIC’s Subcommittee on Supervision Modernization.
