Manlunas founded Wavemaker Partners, a multifaceted, cross border venture capital firm which has raised more than $950 million in capital and invested in more than 450 companies. With headquarters both in Los Angeles and Singapore, the firm is an early-stage investor focused on enterprise, deep tech and sustainability startups. Last year, Wavemaker raised two separate funds, a $125 million early-stage fund and a $60 million growth stage fund. Manlunas also personally acquired 2XU, a global leader in high performance apparel, from L’ Catterton last year. Other ventures for Manlunas have included founding Sitestar, an Internet service provider in the rural markets of the mid-Atlantic region of the U.S. which he exited in 2002.
