Binder co-founded UBS wealth management group, Wise River Advisors, which specializes in providing wealth services to professional athletes and entertainers, as well as seasoned executives across Los Angeles, San Diego and Orange County. The group currently manages $8.5 billion in assets. Before joining UBS in 2013, Binder spent 13 years with Merrill Lynch as a managing director in the firm’s private banking and investment group. While UBS is based in Switzerland, more than half of its $6.1 trillion in assets under management are from the U.S. Binder also serves on the UBS Financial Advisor Advisory Council, a tight-knit group of just 14 advisors from the whole firm who work together on overall strategy.
