Nortman is the co-managing partner of Monarch Collective, the first investment platform exclusively dedicated to investing in women’s sports and is also a co-founder of Angel City Football Club. Monarch’s portfolio includes Boston NWSL, San Diego Wave and Angel City. Prior to Monarch, Nortman held a variety of roles including managing partner at Upfront Ventures and head of IAC’s mergers and acquisitions group. She also served on the board of IAC’s mobile technology incubator, where she incubated Tinder. Earlier in her career, Nortman also worked at Battery Ventures, Microsoft and Morgan Stanley. Nortman is a founding member of All Raise, a venture capital-led nonprofit dedicated to increased diversity in funders and founders.
