East West Bank
Ng has been at the helm of East West for 34 years, overseeing the Pasadena-based bank’s growth from a small savings and loan association with $600 million in assets to a global commercial bank with $76 billion in assets. Under his leadership, East West transitioned into a public company. Community partners for the bank include the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, The Huntington Library, the Bowers Museum and The Broad. Ng was chair of the 2023 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Business Advisory Council, which advises heads of state and government. He serves on the governing boards of Mattel Inc. and USC.
