Chiate has been with UBS for 12 years and currently is a managing director working in the Wise River Advisors private wealth management group, which he co-founded. This group, which serves clients in Los Angeles, Orange County and Los Angeles with a focus on executives, professional athletes and entertainers, has $8.5 billion in assets under management. Headquartered in Switzerland, UBS considers the U.S. its core market and manages $6.1 trillion in assets across the world. More than half of those assets come from the U.S. Before joining UBS, Chiate was a managing director in the private banking and investment group at Merrill Lynch.
