Del Moral-Niles has been executive vice president and chief financial officer of East West Bank – the largest independent bank in L.A. County by assets – for nearly two years. Under his leadership in 2024, East West Bank, which is based in Pasadena, reported a record net income and revenue for a full year, totaling $1.2 billion and $2.6 billion, respectively. Prior to joining East West, Del Moral-Niles held various other roles including chief financial officer for Associated Banc-Corp., corporate treasurer for First American Financial, president of First American Trust and a senior vice president and director of liability management for Union Bank. Earlier in his career, he also worked as an investment banker at both Merrill Lynch and Lehman Brothers.
