Rosenthal has a vast resumé with the most notable item perhaps being his role as lead managing owner of the Los Angeles Football Club, the most valuable team in Major League Soccer with an estimated $1.25 billion valuation from Forbes. Additionally, Rosenthal serves as director and partner of Century City-based alternative investment manager, Ares Management Corp., which he also co-founded. Rosenthal is chair of Ares Private Equity Group, the fifth largest private equity firm in L.A. County by assets, as well. Before Ares, he was a managing director in Merrill Lynch’s global leveraged finance group. He currently serves on the board of groups including LaserAway.
