Pritzker runs the private equity firm Pritzker Group which provides private capital, venture capital and asset management and has invested in or acquired more than 100 companies. Its current portfolio includes PathGroup, PLZ Aerospace Corporation and Technimark. Pritzker is one of the 13 billionaire heirs to the Pritzker fortune, which includes the Hyatt hotel chain. Another entity of his is Pritzker Private Capital, where he serves as chief executive and chair. With a focus on middle market companies in the manufactured products and services sectors, PPC invests in North American businesses with an enterprise value of between $200 million and $1.5 billion.
