The Nasdaq fell two points to 5,102.

The LABJ Stock Index was flat at 244.

Gainers and Losers

Thousand Oaks agricultural biotech Ceres Inc. was Monday’s biggest local gainer. Shares rose 20 percent on the day, closing at $1.18 after the company reported revenue that beat analysts’ expectations.

Monday’s biggest loser among stocks trading above $1 was Daily Journal Corp. Shares fell 11 percent on the day, closing at $183.77.
