The Dow Jones industrial average fell 56 points in Wednesday trading to close at 17,702.
The S&P 500 fell 7 points to 2,075.
The Nasdaq fell 16 points to 5,067.
The LABJ Stock Index fell 1 point to 239.
While the stock market was open Wednesday, the bond market was closed in honor of Veterans Day.
