After 17 years of working at mid-size bi-coastal firms, Kathryn McCann and her friend and law partner, Maribeth Annaguey, decided to strike out on their own with the goal of engaging in a smaller, more client-focused practice. Along with another partner and two long-time staff members, in May 2023, they founded Annaguey McCann LLP, a minority and women owned litigation boutique. Since opening, the firm has grown to five attorneys and three full-time staff, all colleagues from previous firms.
McCann has focused her legal career on representing national and global companies in large, complex and class action litigation in the areas of business, real estate, contracts, employment and entertainment. She has handled cases in California federal and state courts, the California Court of Appeal, the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, as well as before various arbitral tribunals and administrative hearing boards.
