As a partner and co-chair of Covington & Burling’s Commercial Litigation and Entertainment & Media Practices, Neema Sahni serves as go-to counsel for some of the entertainment industry’s biggest names. Through her work at Covington – and her prior experience in-house at Disney – Sahni has developed a sophisticated understanding of the legal and business issues impacting content creators and platforms.
Recently, she was part of the team that represented Spotify in opposing a petition for pre litigation discovery filed by musical artist Drake accusing Spotify of participating in a scheme to promote Kendrick Lamar’s Grammy Award-winning song “Not Like Us.”
