After almost 30 years of practicing bankruptcy and restructuring law, Rebecca Winthrop has a national practice and works primarily with clients in the health care, manufacturing and technology industries. Most recently, she represented the largest property damage claimant in PG&E’s bankruptcy case in California, negotiated the completion of the purchase of a two-story tall million-dollar forklift used in the construction of nuclear submarines in New Jersey, and restructured millions of dollars of equipment lease obligations for a stand-alone emergency room system in Texas. Winthrop’s knowledge and skill have helped propel Norton Rose Fulbright’s restructuring group to become one of the top teams in the nation. Winthrop provides a full spectrum of bankruptcy, insolvency and restructuring advice. Her practice ranges from representing financial institutions, purchasers of distressed assets, unsecured creditors and debtors in complex Chapter 11 bankruptcies in multiple industries.
