Kalpana Srinivasan is Susman Godfrey’s first female managing partner in the Susman Godfrey’s 40+ year history and the first to be named managing partner after climbing the ranks starting as associate. Srinivasan is also among a rare cadre of diverse, female lawyers who regularly try and win big-ticket intellectual property cases before judges and juries. She secures landmark victories for her clients across complex IP law including patent, copyright and trade secret. In 2023 alone, she is serving as lead counsel in six intellectual property matters set for trial or arbitration this year – spanning issues from trade secrets related to the health care triggers to patents covering networking and landmark WiFi technology. Srinivasan litigates cases that are reshaping the landscape of intellectual property law across patent, copyright and trade secret. She is currently serving as lead counsel on many cutting-edge intellectual property matters across the country.
