Jeff Bjork was recently named managing partner for Latham & Watkins in Los Angeles, a role in which he’ll coordinate the efforts of more than 270 lawyers and professionals who support them in the firm’s two LA offices located in Century City and Downtown Los Angeles. He takes on this leadership position while maintaining an industry-leading restructuring and bankruptcy practice, in which he represents public and private companies, creditors and investors in all aspects of restructuring matters. Bjork previously served as the global vice chair of Latham’s Restructuring and Special Situations Practice Group. Widely recognized as a leading restructuring lawyer in the US, Bjork is a fellow in the prestigious American College of Bankruptcy. With 25 years in practice, Bjork has represented debtors, creditors, spon-sors, boards of directors and investors in all aspects of restructuring distressed companies.
