With over two decades of legal experience, Jeff Atkin serves as a trusted business advisor to his clients on a diverse range of legal matters. He is a recognized leader in the clean energy and renewables space, and his areas of practice include renewable energy, project finance, private placements, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, life sciences, real estate development and equipment procurement and leasing. Atkin is passionate about assisting clients with improving their environmental and social impact – representing developers, investors, lenders and landowners in the construction, project development, infrastructure acquisition and financing of renewable energy generation facilities, including wind, solar, hydro, geothermal and biomass facilities and other non-energy related project development. As the former managing partner of Foley’s Los Angeles office for the previous seven years, Atkin oversaw 110 lawyers and business profes-sionals, supervising the strategic growth of the office and the expansion of Foley’s presence locally.
