Belinda Vega is a partner in Venable LLP’s Los Angeles office, where she focuses on complex commercial litigation, including matters involving unfair business practices, securities litigation, intellectual property, real estate litigation, contract disputes and fraud. She is also a co-chair of Venable’s West Coast Litigation Group. Recently, Vega was a key member of a team that obtained a complete defense verdict in a $25 million California jury trial alleging breach of duty and fraud against a hospitality company and its CEO. She was also a key member of a team that won a complete defense verdict in a lawsuit alleging breach of fiduciary duty and fraud against a hospitality company and its CEO. Beyond her legal accomplishments, Vega dedicates considerable time to various nonprofit organizations. She was also recently appointed to the Board of Airport Commissioners of the Los Angeles World Airports.
