K&L Gates LLP
Christina Goodrich is an intellectual property litigator in the Los Angeles office of K&L Gates LLP, a fully-integrated full service global law firm. Goodrich has experience litigating complex civil cases in federal trial and appellate courts across the nation. She also has trial experience in the International Trade Commission on a large patent infringement case and first chair arbitration experience in a complex and lengthy action in which she and her team secured a complete defense verdict. Goodrich has argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the California Court of Appeals, including a case resulting in a published decision in a matter of first impression. She has consistently held numerous important leadership roles at the firm over the past ten years, including Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group coordinator, co-chair of the Los Angeles Women in the Profession committee, member of the firmwide Women in the Profession committee, inaugural member and co-chair of the Global Associate Liaison Committee, member of the firmwide Idea Group (which focuses on innovation) and co-chair of the Los Angeles Associates Group. Her involvement in these leadership roles, while managing a busy litigation practice, belies her dedication to excellence, invocation and mentorship. She has also taken on a number of impactful pro bono cases fighting for the rights of transgender women who have been sexually assaulted in prison. Certainly an attorney to watch, Goodrich continues such dedication in all of her leadership roles, including through initiatives designed to increase the recruitment, development, retention and promotion of women and diverse individuals practicing in intellectual property.
