Timothy B. Yoo
Principal
Bird, Marella, Boxer, Wolpert, Nessim, Drooks, Lincenberg & Rhow, P.C.
Timothy B. Yoo has already established himself as a go-to trial lawyer in his young career, particularly for international companies with complex cross-border disputes and tech companies seeking to resolve their most complicated technical matters – especially those involving the Asia-Pacific region. He has litigated – and successfully resolved – matters on behalf of Taiwanese electronics manufacturer Pegatron Corporation and Korean set-top manufacturer Humax Co. Ltd.
Yoo’s legal talent and experience genuinely separate him from his peers. For two years, he served as senior litigation counsel for CJ Entertainment & Media in Seoul, Korea. He managed all of the company’s overseas disputes, including a high-profile dispute against The Weinstein Company over the distribution of Bong Joon-Ho’s “Snowpiercer.” Fluent in Korean, Yoo also co-heads Bird Marella’s Korea Practice and is a member of the firm’s Entertainment Practice Group.
