Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer – 3GC Group
Henry Park has globally grown 3GC Group with offices now on both US coasts as well as overseas. Under his leadership, 3GC has increased revenues year over year through primarily word of mouth, and continues to add new mid-enterprise clients every quarter while maintaining trusted support with existing clients, some of whom have been with 3GC for more than a decade. Early on, 3GC’s focus was, as a VAR, on network infrastructure and the solutions that were being pushed to the network. Park’s philosophy from day one was to fully understand the network, from the fundamentals up through Layer 7, and ensure that new technologies performed reliably and optimally while remaining secure.
DEREK PETERSON
Chief Technology Officer – Boingo Wireless Team
Derek Peterson, Ph. D., chief technology officer, is responsible for Boingo’s technical vision and strategy. Under his leadership, Boingo is pioneering the adoption and deployment of the latest IT and network technologies including Passpoint, network virtualization and convergence. He is directly responsible for building and operating Boingo’s core technologies and systems, including web applications, client software, networks, authentication, billing, advertising, IPTV, business intelligence and IT infrastructure. Dr. Peterson has deep telecommunications experience as a consultant, engineer, product manager and executive. Prior to joining Boingo in 2011, he served in strategic product roles at Oracle driving global launch campaigns for LTE adoption and billing software solutions. He is a veteran of Operation Desert Shield/Storm and Operation Joint Endeavor, serving with the United States Air Force.
