Gayane Kirakosyan has over 16 years of investment banking experience advising companies on debt and equity capital raises, mergers and acquisitions, and financial restructurings / bankruptcy. Throughout her career, Kirakosyan has closed over $2.6 billion in transactions across a wide variety of industries. Kirakosyan joined FocalPoint’s Los Angeles office in 2005 and is currently a director in the firm’s Capital Markets Group. Previously, she worked at Merrill Lynch and in Wedbush Morgan Securities’ consumer products group.

Kirakosyan has consistently focused on helping and supporting women in the finance industry, through career advice, mentoring, and founding a women’s networking group designed to build a network of strong, successful women. She is also currently on the board of the Women of ACG Los Angeles. Kirakosyan graduated summa cum laude from the Marshall School of Business at USC, where she majored in business administration with dual emphasis in finance and global management.
