Trucking Group Seeks Exemption for Congestion

In an attempt to ease congestion at the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, the local trade group Harbor Trucking Association announced Thursday that it will petition the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration for an exemption from a federal mandate that limits when truck drivers can work, the Daily Breeze reports.
